Preamble
- We at My Record are committed to complete transparency regarding the privacy of App users. This document clarifies how we use user information, the types of data we collect, the reasons for collecting it, and how it is utilized. Our goal is to enable location-based tourists (“Users”) to interact with the App, ensuring it functions properly and safely.
- You are not obligated to provide personally identifiable information. Any such provision is voluntary and subject to applicable law.
- This Privacy Policy is provided on behalf of My Record Ltd., company no. 516540986, located at 10 Ha’Oranim St., Zichron Yaacov. It forms part of the App’s Terms of Use.
- This policy applies to all uses of the App across all devices and technologies.
Information Provided When Setting Up an Account
- Tourist Visitors are not required to provide ANY personal data
- Users may agree to receive notifications (e.g., comments, updates, features).
- The agreement includes consent to receive marketing communications in accordance with Israeli law. Users may unsubscribe via the link or email.
Content Creators - User-Generated Content (“Creators”)
- Content creators are required to authenticate themselves in order to upload and share stories on the platform
- They provide us rights to distribute their content to other users.
Data Collection by the Company
- The app includes optional geo-location tracking in order to show the stories around the user and while navigating with the app
- We don’t collect or keep that tracking information
- Users may allow the App to access their camera or photo library to upload media.
How We Use Information
- User data is stored in secure databases and used to support App services and enhancements.
- Public profiles and posted Content may be visible to the general public or selected groups.
- With the user's consent, we may contact them using their preferred methods.
- We may store data to comply with laws, handle complaints, support investigations, or fulfill legal obligations.
- Information will not be shared with third parties, except for:
- App service providers (bound by confidentiality).
- Legal proceedings and law enforcement.
- Preventing illegal activity.
- Minimizing legal liability.
- Court orders or official legal requests.
- Business transactions (e.g., sale or merger), under the same privacy terms.
- We may share aggregated, non-identifiable statistical data for marketing and research.
User Rights
- Users can update their account info at any time.
- Users can restrict access to their photos/videos via device settings.
- Users can delete stories (and related comments).
- Users can delete their account and all associated Content. Some data may be retained for legal reasons.
- Users can uninstall the App, but this won’t delete the account or stored data. Reinstallation will reconnect the device.
- Users can request to review or update stored data, per Israeli privacy law.

Information Security
- We follow standard security protocols to protect data, but we cannot guarantee against all risks.

- Using the App signifies acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
- If you do not accept any part of this policy, do not use the App.
- We may revise this policy at any time. Continued use indicates acceptance.

- If any clause is invalid, it will be replaced without affecting the rest of the policy.
- This policy is governed by the laws of Israel.
- Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
